Three coastlines, one itinerary, entirely shaped around you. Move between three of Mexico‘s most distinct coastal regions, each with its own rhythm. From the private peninsula of Punta Mita to the dramatic cliffs of Los Cabos and the reef-lined shore of the Riviera Maya, the trip is built entirely around the version of Mexico you want to see.
Punta Mita sits on its own stretch of the Pacific coast, known for resorts that favor privacy and quiet over crowds. Days here move between the beach, the golf courses that wrap around the peninsula, and the fishing villages where the pace of life has changed very little in decades.
Puerto Vallarta is a short drive away and home to Latin America’s largest gay neighborhood Zona Romantica, with its own beaches, bars, and restaurants layered into the city’s cobblestone streets.
Los Cabos brings a different register entirely. Cabo San Lucas has an established gay scene, and the wider Tourist Corridor connecting Cabo San Lucas to San Jose del Cabo pairs its nightlife with cardon cacti, desert arroyos, and whale watching in season, all set against dramatic rock formations where the Pacific meets the Sea of Cortez.
The trip closes on the Caribbean side, in the Riviera Maya, where the coastline turns from desert to jungle and the water shifts from deep blue to the turquoise more often associated with Mexico’s Yucatan coast. Tulum’s cliffside ruins, the region’s cenotes, and its stretch of white sand beach round out the final days.

Day 1-3 Punta Mita
Land at Puerto Vallarta International Airport, where a private driver is waiting for the forty-minute transfer up the coast to Punta Mita.
Settle into your oceanfront room and let the first afternoon be unstructured, with a swim before dinner or simply the view from your terrace.
The days that follow move at whatever pace you set. Mornings suit the water, whether that means a surf lesson, a paddleboard session in the bay, or a boat out to the Marietas Islands. Afternoons belong to the resort, with a round of golf or a spa treatment built around local ingredients.
Evenings can stay quiet, with dinner on-site as the sun drops into the Pacific, or shift toward more energy with a drive into Puerto Vallarta’s Zona Romantica, Latin America’s largest gay neighborhood.
Day 4-6 Los Cabos
A short flight takes you across the Sea of Cortez to Los Cabos, where a private transfer delivers you to your hotel along the Tourist Corridor.
Mornings are well suited to the water. A boat trip out to the arch at Land’s End often turns into a dolphin or whale sighting, and the calmer waters on the Sea of Cortez side make for easy snorkeling.
Afternoons can be spent exploring the desert arroyos by horseback or ATV, or simply back at the hotel. As evening falls, Cabo San Lucas comes into its own, with a small but welcoming gay scene running through the marina area alongside the wider nightlife the town is known for.
Day 7-9 Riviera Maya
The final flight takes you from Los Cabos to Cancun, where a private driver meets you for the transfer south to your beachfront hotel on the Riviera Maya.
These last days are built around the coast. A day trip to Tulum pairs Mayan ruins set above the sea with a swim in one of the region’s cenotes, and the reef just offshore makes for easy snorkeling closer to the hotel.
On the final night, a private dinner marks the end of the journey, before your transfer to Cancun airport the following day.
