This has long been one of our most popular LGBTQ+ group trips. The fact that you can explore history combined with partying and relaxation is undoubtedly why it's one of our bestsellers.
The relaxed nature of this trip means you'll have plenty of room for spontaneity - no stressful early mornings or limiting daily itineraries. Relax, explore and have fun with new friends.
You can join the trip as a solo traveler, with a partner or group of friends. Solo travelers can opt for a private room for an additional supplement, or can be paired up with another solo traveler at no extra cost. Joining a group trip organized by destination experts is a brilliant way to discover the highlights of Greece in one trip.

Day by day
Group departures follow a set route so everyone travels together. The nights and the order are fixed, but your specialist can add time either side. Prices are an entry-level guide; your quote will be exact.
Days 1 And 2: Athens
Meet your group in Athens at 4pm, where your adventure will begin. Athens was the great hub of art and philosophy in antiquity, and that legacy endures to this day. This city is a dream for a history buff. We shall visit the Acropolis, a shining citadel on a hill containing the Parthenon, one of the greatest buildings on Earth. We can also visit the Archaeology Museum and see some of the wonders of ancient Greece. Then we have the energy and excitement of modern Athens to enjoy, centred in Gazi – where you can enjoy bustling nightlife.
Included Activities: A three-hour walking tour of Athens and the Acropolis.
Optional Activities: The Acropolis Museum, Archaeological Museum, Ancient Agora, Roman Agora and Hadrian’s Library.
Days 3 to 5: Milos
Time to go island hopping. We’ll begin on Milos, one of the lesser known islands but an unforgettable one. Surrounded by stunning beaches, ancient ruins and friendly locals, this is an undiscovered corner of unspoiled paradise. It’s full of passionate locals who will tell us all about their island. We’ll take you for a tour of the island in an ATV vehicle, getting off the beaten track and finding hidden gems along the way. You’ll also be free to soak up the sun on the beach whenever you want.
Included Activities: Three days of ATV rental.
Optional Activities: Sarakiniko Beach, a private charter around Milos, a guided kayaking tour and a Kostanataki’s Winery tour and tasting.
Days 6 And 7: Santorini
We’ll arrive at Thira airport and head up to the top of Imerovigli Hill to our accommodation, overlooking Santorini and the Aegean Sea. This is one of the most famous islands in the world. A place of great sophistication and natural beauty, you’ll fall in love with the beaches, sunsets, hot springs and wineries. There’s no better place to relax, drink wine and enjoy life than Santorini.
Optional Activities: A four-hour sunset cruise of the caldera, a visit to Akrotiri, and a Skaros Rock hike.
Days 8 to 11: Mykonos
You won’t want to leave Santorini, but arriving in Mykonos will soften the blow. This island has a famous LGBTQ+ scene, so there’ll be plenty of bars to explore. You’ll also find a labyrinth of charming white-washed streets, intimate piano and jazz bars, and ancient ruins with fascinating stories to uncover. Mykonos is cosmopolitan and popular with travelers – there’ll be plenty of interesting people to meet here.
The trip finishes here on the 11th day, and you’re welcome to book your flight home or beyond at any time during this day.
Optional Activities: The Delos Island tour, Elias beach, and Jackie O’s Beach Club.
Departures
Prices are per person sharing. A single supplement applies to solo travelers and your specialist will confirm it with your quote.
Further information
Accommodation

You’ll be staying in four beautiful hotels in Athens, Mykonos, Santorini and Milos respectively. This is an adventure-filled itinerary so you’ll spend the majority of time away from the hotel, but a huge amount of work has gone into selecting beautiful 4* properties in each location.
Please note that due to availability, these exact hotels may not all be available during your trip. However, these will always be replaced with similar hotels.
Athens Accommodation

In Athens, you’ll stay at the 360 Pop Art Hotel, based in a fantastic location in the city centre. It’s just a 16-minute walk from the Acropolis of Athens, and a two-minute walk from a metro station, so you can get anywhere in the city with ease. This hotel features retro-inspired design, with all the amenities you’d expect – free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, mini-fridge and tea and coffee making facilities.
Milos Accommodation

You’ll stay at Santa Maria Village when in Milos. This peaceful property sits just two miles from Sarakiniko Beach and overlooks the gorgeous Gulf of Milos. Rooms here feature balconies or verandas, with views of the gardens, pool or the gulf. The hotel features a spa, hot tub, outdoor pool and poolside bar, and you can enjoy free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV and mini-fridge in your room.
Santorini Accommodation

In Santorini you’ll enjoy a dreamy stay at the Loizos Stylish Residences, about one mile from Santorini’s Old Port. It’s peaceful and quiet, while still being near the hustle and bustle of Santorini centre. Amenities here include an outdoor pool, sundeck and massage services, and you’ll have free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a mini-fridge in your room.
Mykonos Accommodation

Finally, stay at the Damiano’s Hotel in Mykonos. It sits just 2km from the nearest beach and a five-minute walk from Mykonos town centre. Each of the bright and breezy rooms feature free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and mini fridges, and the hotel features a snack bar, sundeck, pool with sea views and a bar.
Food & Drink

Savor the delights of Greek cuisine in its homeland. With a Mediterranean foundation infused with Middle Eastern influences, local menus offer a rich array of flavors, featuring olives, cheeses, eggplant, lamb, and yogurt. These group trips are designed to provide flexibility for your culinary adventures.
While all breakfasts are included in the trip, lunch and dinner are not part of the package, so you can explore the diverse restaurant options on offer for lunch and dinner at your own pleasure. This way, you have the freedom to dine at your chosen time and place, with the company of your choice, and within your preferred budget. Should you seek recommendations for the best dining experiences in each location, your trip leader will be a valuable resource.
LGBTQ+ Travel in Greece

The regions you’ll explore in Greece are generally open-minded and inclusive, with a warm reception towards LGBTQ+ travelers. However, influenced by the Orthodox Church, public displays of affection, whether for same-sex or opposite-sex couples, are typically viewed conservatively. In consideration of local customs, we recommend expressing your affection in more private settings.
The locals in Greece are known for their warmth, friendliness, and laidback nature. The importance of family is deeply ingrained in Greek culture, often leading to entire families working together in hotels and restaurants. While English is widely spoken, embracing a few Greek phrases can enhance your experience, starting with ‘Yia sou’ (hello), ‘Efharisto’ (thank you), and ‘Pou ine i paralia?’ (where’s the beach?).
Greece Information

What’s the climate like?
Greece tends to be very warm in summer and there’s little rain. That being said, it’s always best to bring some layers to be on the safe side.
What’s the currency?
In Greece, the official currency is the Euro. While credit cards are commonly used, it’s advisable to carry some cash in Euros as well. We recommend arriving with around 300 Euros, and you can easily access more cash from local ATMs when needed.
Do I tip in Greece?
Today, tipping for good service is customary in the tourism and hospitality industry worldwide. Tipping your trip leader is also a common practice, and while it’s entirely at your discretion, most budget around $10 USD per day for this.
Which plugs are used?
Greece uses a “type C” and “type F” plug, the same as most European countries and several other places in the world. The voltage is 230V with 50 Hz frequency.

Will we have a trip leader?
You’ll have a dedicated gay trip leader accompanying you throughout the journey. Their role is to make your Greece experience truly unforgettable by sharing expertise, eliminating travel hassles and ensuring you can fully immerse yourself in the Greek culture.
What do I bring?
We recommend you pack light, with breathable clothing and light layers. If there’s anything urgent you need that you’ve forgotten, you can always pick up a replacement in Athens.
