The destination

Bora Bora

Bora Bora is a small volcanic island in French Polynesia, part of the Society Islands archipelago in the South Pacific. The island itself is around 12 square miles, ringed by a coral reef that creates the calm turquoise lagoon the destination is known for. Mount Otemanu rises 727 metres at the centre of the island.

The Ultimate French Polynesia Grand Tour

Tailor-made Vacation

Some destinations ask you to choose one experience over another; French Polynesia does not. This sixteen-day journey moves through five islands across two archipelagos, each with its own character and pace, connected by short inter-island flights, a scenic ferry crossing, and a private boat transfer. You will begin in Tahiti, the territory's cultural and geographic heart, before crossing the Sea of the Moon to Moorea, where jagged volcanic peaks rise directly behind the lagoon.

Bora Bora Snorkeling & Reef Trip

Tailor-made Vacation

Your journey begins on Mo'orea, where a turquoise lagoon shelters black tip reef sharks, turtles, and stingrays within easy reach of the shore. From there, you continue to Bora Bora, where Mount Otemanu rises over a lagoon best seen from a private catamaran, glass of champagne in hand. The route continues to Rangiroa, the second-largest atoll on Earth, where the pink-tinged sands of Vahituri catch the afternoon light.

Secluded Tahiti & Rangiroa Tour

Tailor-made Vacation

This itinerary moves through three of French Polynesia's quieter islands, each reached only by boat or short inter-island flight, and each rarely appearing on a first-time visitor's itinerary. It suits travelers who have already done Bora Bora, or who would rather skip it, in favor of a slower, less-photographed route through French Polynesia. The journey begins on Tahiti, where volcanic peaks meet a coastline still shaped by the island's original Polynesian settlements.
