Opoa Beach Hotel sits in the south of Raiatea, French Polynesia, five minutes from the Marae of Taputapuatea, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most significant sacred sites in the Pacific.
The hotel sits between the lagoon and tropical vegetation, 210 kilometers northwest of Tahiti and 40 minutes from Raiatea Airport.
The property operates with a strong sustainability focus, working toward the Green Key eco-label across energy, waste, and responsible purchasing practices. On-site, Spa by Opoa offers massages, scrubs, and wraps in an open massage fare at the edge of the lagoon, open to both hotel guests and outside visitors by appointment.
Transport from the airport and marina is arranged directly by the hotel, and car, scooter, electric bike, and jet ski rental are all available on-site for exploring the island.

Garden Bungalow
The Garden Bungalows feature a terrace overlooking the gardens and pool, with sea views. It also features a king-size bed, air conditioning, a safe, and a dressing room.
The living area includes a sofa, TV, Nespresso machine, complimentary tea, minibar, and Wi-Fi. The spacious bathroom has two sinks, a large Italian shower, and a separate toilet. Outside, the terrace is equipped with deckchairs, a table, and a hammock.
Lagoon Bungalow Sea View
The Sea View Lagoon Bungalows are 50 m² and feature a large terrace with direct beach access and stunning views of the lagoon and distant Huahine. It includes a bedroom with a king-size bed, air conditioning, and a dressing room.
The living space offers a sofa, TV, Nespresso machine, kettle, complimentary coffee and tea, minibar, and Wi-Fi. The bathroom is equipped with two basins, a large Italian shower, and a separate toilet. Outside, enjoy the terrace with deckchairs, a table, and a hammock.
Family Villa
Welcome to your Family Villa, an expansive 100m2 retreat with a stunning mountain view. This villa features two bedrooms each with a king-size bed and ample storage. The living area includes two sofas, a TV, a Nespresso machine, a tea courtesy tray, and a minibar.
There are two spacious bathrooms each with dual basins and a large Italian shower, plus a separate WC. The extensive terrace offers a comfortable sitting area for relaxation.

Dining
The hotel restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a menu built around fresh local produce and French-Polynesian cooking. The setting faces the lagoon directly, and the kitchen sources ingredients from the surrounding island where possible. In-room dining is available on request through the concierge service, which operates seven days a week from 8am to 8pm.
Wellness
Spa by Opoa sits at the edge of the lagoon in a traditional open-air massage fare, where treatments are delivered against a backdrop of tropical birdsong and sea breeze. A certified wellness therapist offers massages, body scrubs, and wraps drawing on Polynesian ingredients including tiaré, tipanie, and monoi oil. The spa is open to both hotel guests and outside visitors by appointment, making it one of the few wellness spaces on Raiatea accessible to non-residents.
Location
Opoa Beach Hotel’s restaurant in Raiatea serves lunch and dinner daily, five minutes from Taputapuatea Marae. Diners can enjoy Polynesian-inspired cuisine with French gastronomic techniques, using fresh local fish, organic herbs, garden produce and homemade desserts. The beach bar opens from 11am, offering lagoon views, cocktails, fresh fruit drinks, local beer and a relaxed sandy setting.
