At a glance
Six Senses Samui sits on a sloping headland on the northern tip of Koh Samui, set among 20 acres of indigenous vegetation with uninterrupted views across the Gulf of Thailand and its outlying islands.
The resort is built entirely of villas, each constructed from teak and bamboo and set into the natural contours of the hillside rather than on cleared ground, so the landscape remains largely intact around the buildings. Every villa is assigned a dedicated Guest Experience Maker, a personal butler who manages restaurant reservations, in-villa dining, and activity bookings throughout the stay.
The resort sits 15 minutes from Samui International Airport and 20 minutes from Chaweng Beach. Fisherman’s Village in Bophut is within walking distance. Six Senses Samui holds a Michelin Key, recognizing the consistency and character of its hospitality.
The resort operates a Farm on the Hill where food waste is composted and produce is grown for the kitchens, and runs one of the most comprehensive sustainability programs of any resort in Thailand.
