Scotland’s most iconic luxury hotel, Gleneagles, has defined country estate hospitality for over a century, where championship golf, Michelin-starred dining, and 850 acres of Perthshire wilderness set a standard no other Scottish hotel can match.

Gleneagles is a 5-star luxury hotel in Perthshire, Scotland, with 205 individually designed rooms and 28 suites. As the only venue in Europe to have hosted both the Ryder and Solheim Cups, its three championship courses, The King’s, The Queen’s, and The PGA Centenary, make it the definitive golf hotel in Scotland. Resident guests benefit from preferential green fees, with the Ochil Hills as a backdrop throughout.

Dining is anchored by Andrew Fairlie, Scotland’s only two Michelin-starred restaurant, with The Strathearn, The American Bar, The Birnam, and The Dormy among the wider portfolio of restaurants and bars.

The spa covers an adults-only thermal suite, treatment rooms, gym, and family swim facilities. Country pursuits span shooting, fishing on the River Tay, falconry, off-road driving, horse riding, padel, and woodland adventures.

Dining

Gleneagles’ dining spans the full spectrum from Scotland’s finest fine dining table to a dog-friendly café. Andrew Fairlie is the anchor, a two Michelin-starred restaurant and one of Europe’s most celebrated, known for French-inspired cooking and exemplary service. The Strathearn handles formal dinners with live piano, The Birnam leans into Italian with handmade pasta and tableside Caesar salad, and The Dormy serves stone-baked pizzas and Tandoor curries overlooking the greens. The American Bar, Century Bar, and Auchterarder 70 cover cocktails and nightcaps, while afternoon tea in the Glendevon, country picnics, and whisky tastings with the hotel’s own ambassador round out an offer that few properties in the UK can match.
