Rise over Luxor's West Bank at dawn and see Hatshepsut's terraces, the Colossi of Memnon and the Nile as only the air allows.
From First Gray to Full Sun

You lift off in the first gray light and spend roughly an hour aloft, typically 45 to 60 minutes in the air, as dawn turns into full sunrise over the temples. The balloon moves between about 500 and 1,500 feet, its legal ceiling, tracing the sharp edge where the green Nile valley meets open desert.
Lower passes bring the monuments close; then you climb again for the wider view.
Temples Best Read from Above
The Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut lies flat against a curved wall of limestone cliffs, and its three stacked terraces only make full sense from the air. Its central line points straight across the river to Karnak Temple on the far bank.
In the green fields nearby, the Colossi of Memnon, two 18-meter stone statues, stand guard. Along the desert edge sprawls the Ramesseum, with its fallen colossus of Ramesses II lying broken in the first courtyard, a scene that reads far better from above than on foot. Medinet Habu is in view on the West Bank too, while Karnak and Luxor Temples catch the light across the water.
The hard part is not finding a beautiful place. It is finding the right one for you.
Request a quote →Past the Valley of the Kings

Egyptian aviation rules don’t allow flights directly over the Valley of the Kings, so the balloon drifts along its flank instead, past the ridge that hides the tombs. From here the valley appears as deep, sun-bleached clefts cut into the mountainside.
A Basket with Room to Look

A smaller private basket gives you space to move and look every way, instead of sharing the rail with a crowd. The flight can linger where you want it to, lower over the Ramesseum or higher for the desert panorama, and your transfer back to Luxor is part of the morning.
