Experience Austria in full in this itinerary which takes you to the heart of the country visiting Vienna, Salzburg and Innsbruck. Characterised by its mountain villages, baroque city architecture, imperial history and rugged alpine terrain, Austria holds stunning beauty.
Vienna, its Danube River capital, is home to the Schönbrunn and Hofburg palaces and has counted Mozart, Strauss and Sigmund Freud among its residents. In Salzburg, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the birthplace of the world-famous composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart whilst in Innsbruck, you’ll be able to visit the Swarovski Crystal Factory as well as exploring the fascinating 800-year-old town.

Day 1: Vienna
Arrive into Vienna before taking a private transfer to your 5* hotel by sedan.
You have the afternoon and evening at your leisure.
Optional Activity: Vienna By Night – A private walking tour (2 hours)
Experience the most beautiful sights of Vienna at night. Explore the old town with an experienced guide, who will introduce you the unique charm and shows you Vienna from a different perspective.
Overnight at Park Hyatt Vienna.
Day 2: Vienna
After breakfast, take a private guided four-hour city tour of Vienna including the stunning Schönbrunn Palace.
Explore the old town of Vienna starting with Ringstrasse boulevard, where you pass many famous landmarks.
First take a look at the impressive Vienna State Opera. It is home of the famous “Opera Ball” which takes place every year. Admire the Grand Hofburg Palace, the former winter residence of the imperial family and discover monumental buildings of the Museum of Art History and the Museum of Natural History.
Further stops will take you via the neoclassical Parliament, the acclaimed Burgtheater and the striking City Hall, where the legendary Life Ball takes place.
Then join a guided tour of the Grand Schönbrunn Palace with its magnificent 40 rooms. You will visit the historic staterooms and see how the imperial family once lived.
Afterwards you have time to take a stroll through the palace gardens or enjoy a cup of original Viennese coffee and a piece of delicious apple strudel.
The afternoon and evening are yours at leisure to explore further.
Day 3: Vienna - Salzburg
After breakfast take a private transfer from your hotel to the train station. You’ll board the train from Vienna to Salzburg in 1st class.
Upon arrival into Salzburg you’ll be picked up and taken to your hotel before having the afternoon and evening to explore at your leisure.
Day 4: Salzburg
Following breakfast at your hotel you’ll be picked up by your private sedan and guide to take a city tour of Salzburg.
Explore the birth place of the world famous composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and discover all of Salzburg’s key attractions and history. This tour is the best way to see all the important sights of both the New and Old parts of the city.
The afternoon is yours at leisure.
Day 5: Salzburg - Innsbruck
Following breakfast you’ll be picked up by private sedan which will take you to Salzburg train station. Travel by train from Salzburg to Innsbruck in 1st class.
Upon arrival you’ll be picked up by your driver who will take you to your hotel.
The afternoon and evening are yours at leisure to explore this 800 year old town.
Day 6: Innsbruck
Following breakfast at your hotel, you’ll be picked up by your guide and sedan for a private city sightseeing tour and a visit to the world famous Swarovski Crystal Factory.
You’ll visit Innsbruck’s old town and experience the meeting of its Middle Ages and modern architectural highlights. The old town is over 800 years old and home to many sights and attractions.
Day 7
Following breakfast you’ll be picked up and taken to Innsbruck airport for your onward flight.
