San Juan, the capital, has a small and welcoming gay scene, particularly in the Condado area. Once you’ve explored the capital, journey into the heart of Puerto Rico to discover the beauty of El Yunque National Forest, where cascading waterfalls and verdant trails are waiting to be explored. In Ponce, delve into the island’s second-largest city, home to iconic landmarks like the striking Parque de Bombas and the Teatro La Perla. Ricky Martin sightings cannot be guaranteed.

Curacao

Curacao proudly markets itself as an LGBT+ haven in the Caribbean. The island’s motto, “Biba i laga biba” (live and let live), reflects Curacao’s progressive values. It’s one of the few Caribbean nations that actively celebrates Pride and offers a variety of LGBT+ events throughout the year.

Both Princess Margaret and David Bowie owned homes on the island. Even with the passage of time, Mustique has retained its ultra-exclusive credentials.
