Tucked within vibrant tropical gardens, these split-level villas feature a separate bedroom and lounge, indoor shower, and a private lanai. While ocean views are minimal, the villas are close to the main pool and offer comfort and privacy in equal measure.

Dining
Rates are all-inclusive, with the cooking driven by the resort’s own organic farm and the day’s catch. There is a single ocean-view restaurant, open to the sea on an al fresco deck, where the menu changes daily around homegrown fruit, vegetables, and local seafood. Meals can also be set up in your villa, at a scenic lookout, or in the private Sunset Dining Bure. A beach bar handles sundowners.
Wellness
The resort spa keeps things simple and Fijian, with massages, facials, and body scrubs that can be booked in the spa or out in the open air. The standout, though, is the Over the Cliff Pool, a horizon pool that reaches past the edge of the cliff for long views over the Somosomo Strait. Sun loungers, beachfront hammocks, and the quiet of the gardens round out the downtime.
Activities
Taveuni is built for the water. The resort stands on the Somosomo Strait beside the Rainbow Reef, the soft coral capital of the world, with diving arranged through the nearby Taveuni Ocean Sports and snorkeling and kayaking straight off the private beach. On land, the Bouma National Heritage Park, the Tavoro waterfalls, the Lavena Coastal Walk, and the Tagimoucia crater lake are all close. A weekly Fijian cultural night covers the rest.
