At its core is the Agora, a modern-day marketplace housing greengrocers, a butcher, a fishmonger, a roastery, and a delicatessen, all drawing on over 150 artisanal Greek producers.
Rooms sit above a working food ecosystem rather than a conventional lobby, with Ergon minibars stocked from the marketplace below and in-room dining sourced from the same philosophy. Communal kitchens, cooking classes, and a restaurant celebrating Greek cuisine give guests as much or as little involvement in the food as they want.
On the rooftop, handcrafted cocktails and unobstructed views of the Acropolis provide the natural endpoint to any day in the city. There is nowhere else in Athens quite like it.

Accommodation
Large Room
The large room offers a child bed in addition to the king-sized four-poster bed. The design is open plan, with screen separators that are reminiscent of the retro breeze blocks used on Greek islands in the 1960s. Ideal for small families.
Extra-Large Room
Ideal for couples, the extra-large room features a super-king four-poster bed, as well as an open plan with breeze block screens, much like the large rooms. You’ll also enjoy Acropolis views.
Family Room
Ideal for group or family travel, the family room is made up of interconnecting large and small rooms, so you’ll double up on lounge and work areas. Sleeping a maximum of four adults, one child, and one infant, these rooms feature two four-poster beds and singles for the little ones. Ample natural light streams in through spacious double-glazed windows, providing views of either an atrium or the city, along with a distinctive glass brick feature wall. You’ll find a communal kitchen on every floor of this hotel, ideal if you’d like to make meals with your group.

Food Experience
Food is the guiding thread at Ergon House, running from the Agora marketplace on the ground floor through to the in-room minibar. Farm-to-table produce is sourced entirely within Greece, drawing on over 150 artisanal producers, with roots tracing back to a family grocer in Thessaloniki. Guests can eat at the restaurant, cook in the communal kitchens, or simply graze their way through one of Athens’ most compelling food destinations.
Services
In-room dining draws on Ergon classics made from fresh, local ingredients, while rooms come stocked with a curated minibar of Greek wines and artisanal snacks. Cooking classes led by expert chefs take guests from a guided tour of the marketplace to a hands-on lesson and a shared meal. The Shop & Cook service lets guests handpick ingredients from the Agora below and prepare their own dishes in the communal kitchens.
