Santorini is a very different proposition from Mykonos. The pace is slower, the atmosphere more romantic, and the focus is firmly on the caldera, the views and some of the most striking hotel settings in Greece. At Canaves Oia, suites are built into the cliffside, many with private pools and terraces overlooking the Aegean.

There is plenty here beyond the scenery. We can arrange a private visit to Akrotiri with an expert guide, giving real context to one of the most important archaeological sites in the Cyclades.
