Chablé Maroma is within the Reserve of Punta Maroma, a protected stretch of coastline around 12 miles north of Playa del Carmen and 35 minutes south of Cancún International Airport. The setting is a relatively undeveloped piece of the Riviera Maya, with a 650-foot private beach fronting the property.
The villa lineup runs to 70 across four categories, with every villa coming with its own pool. The Treetop Pool Villa, Jungle Pool Villa, and Serenity Pool Villa cover the standard categories, with the three-bedroom Presidential Villa at the top of the range. Interiors are by Mexican designer Paulina Morán, who has built the rooms around close ties to Mexican artisanal traditions.
Dining is split across three venues, including Bu’ul and Kaban for sit-down meals and a Raw Bar for lighter fare. The wider Chablé brand is built around Mayan-rooted wellness, with the sister property Chablé Yucatán best known for its cenote spa.

As you head up to the second floor to reach your area, you’ll immediately be struck by the abundant tropical foliage seen from this fresh vantage point. Your villa, discreetly nestled among the trees, comes equipped with a personal plunge pool, inviting you to unwind in complete tranquility. If desired, you can also request connecting villas, ideal for larger families or groups of friends.
Jungle Pool Villa
The Jungle Pool Villa is a haven of tranquility. The ample private outdoor terrace and plunge pool are enveloped by lush greenery, providing a serene place to cool off from the Caribbean heat. The interior exudes a sense of peace, with its use of tropical woods and welcoming fabrics. Every detail has been thoughtfully designed to enhance your feeling of calm.
Serenity Pool Villa
Enveloped by the vivid greens of tropical flora, the Serenity Pool Villa offers a serene retreat. Presidential Villa
This three-bedroom villa spans two stories – the first floor unveils a master suite and expansive living area, complemented by a perimeter plunge pool. The second level features two separate suites, making this home perfect for larger groups. Each one has an oversized balcony, additional seating area, outdoor relaxation bed and private plunge pool.

Dining
The dining programme across all Chablé Hotels is led by Jorge Vallejo, the chef behind Mexico City’s Quintonil, which has held a place on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants list since 2015. Bu’ul is the signature, with contemporary cooking drawing on the culinary traditions of central and southern Mexico and a serious wine list. Kaban handles dishes from Mexico’s coastal regions, from the Pacific to the Riviera Maya. The upper-level Raw Bar takes care of fresh seafood, Mexican snacks, and cocktails over sea views. Produce comes in part from the hotel’s own ka’anches, traditional Mayan raised gardens grown using local wood, organic soil, and traditionally harvested seeds.
Wellness
The spa programme is structured around three journeys, each rooted in a natural element. Purification is centred on the ocean, framing the spa around water as the source of constant movement and renewal. Balance draws on the tree as a sacred Mayan symbol of life. Transformation is built around air and breathwork. Treatments are designed to be tailored to where each guest is on their wellness journey, with the menu open to short individual sessions or longer multi-day programmes.

Chablé Maroma is within the protected Reserve of Punta Maroma on the Caribbean coast of Quintana Roo, around 12 miles north of Playa del Carmen. Cancún International Airport is a 35-minute drive away, and the Riviera Maya’s cenotes, coral reefs, and Mayan archaeological sites, including Tulum and Cobá, are all within easy driving distance.
