The Honeymoon Suite
The Honeymoon Suite offers spectacular views of the surrounding fynbos, sand dunes and a glimpse of the Indian Ocean. The perfect romantic getaway, the suite features an expansive private deck with an outdoor bathtub and sun loungers. A maximum of two guests can occupy this room making it ideal for a romantic escape.

Dining
Meals at Morukuru Beach Lodge center on the open-plan restaurant, where South African menus built on local, seasonal produce are served beside a circular fire that turns the room into a lounge by night. A sheltered courtyard handles outdoor lunches. Down on the sand, Bites Beach Café pours drinks and casual plates through the day, with a front-row view of the whales between July and October.
Wellness
Spa treatments and wellness therapies come to your suite by arrangement, so the pampering happens in private with the ocean in view. Outdoors, a temperature-controlled pool and a hot tub fill the sheltered courtyard, a rooftop terrace catches the sun, and a sunken lounge with a fire pit looks over the dunes to the Indian Ocean. The off-grid calm of De Hoop carries the rest.
Activities
Stays include two guided activities a day across De Hoop Nature Reserve. On and by the water, low-tide marine walks turn up octopus and sea anemones, rock pools are open for snorkeling, and July to November brings land-based whale watching, with southern right whales close to shore. On land, open-vehicle nature drives track eland, bontebok, and Cape mountain zebra, with sandboarding, mountain biking, and fynbos walks among 1,500 flowering species.
