After enjoying a hearty breakfast and lunch in the lodge you will be transferred to Arusha Airport where you’ll catch a short flight to Kuro Airstrip in Tarangire National Park. Once you have arrived you will be met by representatives of the tour and taken on your first game drive around the park. Tarangire National Park is one of the most diverse places in Africa in terms of the wildlife that resides here, the plants and vegetation and the landscapes. The park has the largest concentration of wildlife outside of the Serengeti and on your game drive you are likely to be able to spot herds of elephants, zebras, buffalo, gazelle, hartebeest and more. At the end of your game drive, you will arrive at the luxurious Tarangire Treetops where the rooms are built high on stilts into the trees giving the most fabulous views of the sunsets.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park

You’ll enjoy breakfast in the morning before travelling to a traditional Massai village where you’ll interact with the locals, learn about their way of life and get an insight into what it is like to live here. After this you’ll enjoy a walking safari to get more up close and personal with the wild. Follow the animal tracks, learn about the vegetation and discover more about the indigenous people that live here. Following the tour you’ll enjoy cocktails and dinner on Sunset Hill before embarking on a night game drive to see how the park comes alive when the sun goes down and the nocturnal wildlife comes out to play.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park

Day 4: Tarangire National Park To Karatu

Day 5: Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast at the hotel you will embark on a full day of exploring the famous Ngorongoro Crater which is known by many as the ‘Eigth Wonder of the World’. The 18-kilometre crater is the remnants of a long-extinct volcano which has given new life to the wildlife in the area and has become a must-see due to the sheer masses of animals that can be found here. You’ll have a picnic lunch on the crater rim to allow for spectacular views before exploring more of the crater. In the evening you’ll return to the Manor where you’ll enjoy cocktails and dinner.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Day 6: Karatu To Serengeti National Park

Today you have a range of activities to choose from. Firstly you can choose to stay at the estate where you can enjoy many different activities such as horseback riding, cycling, a tour of the coffee estate, a lovely massage treatment or just relaxing. Your other option is visiting Lake Manyara which was described by Ernest Hemingway as the loveliest lake in Africa. Lake Manyara is one of the most underrated parks in Tanzania but is home to the largest collection of large mammals and it is common to spot herds of elephants, baboons, hippos, buffalo, giraffes and tree-climbing lions. Once you have had lunch you will be transferred to Manyara Airstrip where you will catch a short flight to the Serengeti. You will stay at either the Serengeti Migration Camp or the Serengeti Pioneer Camp (decided before arrival), both of which are top-end, luxury tented lodges – perfect bases for a visit to the Serengeti.

After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll set out to explore the most famous National Park in Africa – the Serengeti. The Serengeti is the oldest and most popular National Park due to the sheer mass of animals that can be spotted during the annual migration. Hundreds and thousands of zebras and wildebeest can be spotted, as well as a good number of crocodiles, honey badgers and more. You’ll discover more of the wildlife, vegetation, landscapes and eco-system on a game drive around the National Park whilst taking in the endless stretches of grassland and golden savannah. You’ll have lunch in the bush and enjoy more game driving in the afternoon. The evening will be spent back at the tented camp admiring the starry night sky with dinner and drinks.
