Our Bangkok and Ko Samet itinerary is perfect for travelers who want to combine Thailand’s vibrant capital with a relaxing island escape. Over 8 days, you’ll explore Bangkok’s temples, markets and nightlife before heading to Ko Samet to enjoy white-sand beaches, clear waters and a laid-back coastal atmosphere.
Whilst most tourists head further south for their island visits, you will find fewer visitors in Ko Samet, which makes it a more off-the-beaten-track place to visit. A great deal of the island is protected as part of Khao Laem Ya-Mu Ko Samet National Park, making it clean and relatively unspoiled.
Begin your journey with three days of exploration in Bangkok, where you’ll immerse yourself in the city’s vibrant culture and vibrant nightlife. Discover hidden treasures at Bangkok’s renowned night markets, marvel at the ancient splendor of Wat Pho, and indulge your senses at Aor Tor Kor Market, all while enjoying the luxurious comforts of the capital’s finest hotels.
After soaking up the sights and sounds of Bangkok, it’s time to embark on a scenic drive and ferry journey to Ko Samet, where four nights of relaxation await. Settle into the luxurious accommodations of Paradee Resort and Spa, where you’ll be treated to breathtaking views of Ao Kiew Beach and the azure waters of the Gulf of Thailand. Spend your days lounging on the pristine shores, exploring the island’s secluded coves, or indulging in rejuvenating spa treatments amidst lush tropical gardens.

Day 1 to 3: Bangkok
Arrive in the heart of Thailand’s capital which is sure to thrill as you explore night markets, historic temples and the waterways of the city.
Enjoy luxury at one of the capital’s beautiful hotels as your base for exploring the fascinating city of Bangkok.
We’ll design an itinerary especially for you based on your interests. We would recommend an early morning visit to Wat Pho to witness the monks’ chanting ritual. It’s one of the oldest temples in Bangkok and home to the famous 45-metre reclining Buddha.
A visit to the Grand Palace is also on the cards – it’s one of the most important and impressive royal palaces in Thailand.
You should also consider a visit to Aor Tor Kor Market, one of the best fresh markets in Bangkok, with various agricultural products and delicious desserts available to please your palate.
In the evening, head out with either a guide or by yourself to explore the nightlife, bars and night markets on offer.
Day 4 to 7: Ko Samet
Today we’ll arrange for you to take a private car for the drive from Bangkok down towards Ko Samet. You’ll take a private speedboat over to the beautiful island and secluded location on Ao Kiew Beach where you’ll stay in the stunning Paradee Resort and Spa hotel.
