Six Senses Yao Noi is an island villa resort in Phang Nga Bay, its treehouse-style pool villas set above a karst-studded sea.
The resort spreads 56 villas up a forested hillside on Koh Yao Noi, an island in Phang Nga Bay between Phuket and Krabi. Built on Thai-style stilts, the villas open to the outside, each with a private infinity pool, a sundeck, a butler, and views of the bay’s limestone pinnacles.
Villas run from the forest-set Hideaway to ocean-facing types and beachfront suites, with multi-bedroom options for families. Dining spans the all-day Living Room near the beach, a hilltop restaurant, and a chef’s table, with a wine cellar and private island dinners.
Wellness runs deep, with a forest spa and Six Senses’ holistic programs, and it suits honeymooners and couples, gay or straight, after privacy, as much as families in the bigger villas. You arrive by boat through the karsts, around 45 minutes from Phuket.

Dining
The Living Room is the all-day restaurant near the beach, with an international menu and a big breakfast spread, plus an ice-cream parlor alongside. Up the hill, a hilltop restaurant trades on the view, and a chef’s table handles tasting menus, backed by a wine cellar of more than 100 labels. The kitchen will also set up in-villa meals or a private dinner somewhere on the island.
Wellness
Wellness is core to Six Senses, and the forest-set spa is the heart of it, with holistic treatments, longer wellness and sleep programs, yoga, and a hammam. The setting does a lot of the work: quiet villas, the karst views, an organic garden, and the resort’s strong sustainability streak through its Earth Lab. Every villa also has its own infinity pool for downtime between treatments.
Location
Six Senses is on Koh Yao Noi, a low-key island in the middle of Phang Nga Bay, between Phuket to the west and Krabi to the east. The draw is the setting: limestone karsts rising straight out of the sea, a working island of fishing villages and rubber plantations, and very little tourist development. You reach it by boat, roughly 45 minutes from Phuket, with the resort handling transfers.
