Villa Deva Resort & Hotel is a low-rise boutique hotel in Bangkok’s Sathorn district, built around a central pool that many rooms open onto.
Set behind walls in Sathorn, Bangkok’s embassy quarter, it is a small, design-led hotel of around 40 rooms and suites around a central pool. The look is contemporary with a Thai accent, and the low-rise layout keeps it quiet despite the central setting.
Pool access is the signature: ground-floor rooms open onto the water, Thai ‘Tha Nam’ style, while upper rooms get balconies above. Rooms run from Deluxe up to Executive Suites and the two-bedroom Deva Pool Villa, with its own large private pool. Dining is the Thai VelaBhirom and the Mayraya wine bar.
It works as a calm base for couples, gay or straight, and solo travelers who want privacy in central Bangkok. Lumpini Park, the business district, and the Silom nightlife area are all close, with BTS and MRT stations a short walk.

Inside, two elegantly appointed bedrooms—one with a king bed and one with twin beds—each offer their own en-suite bathroom. A generous 90 m² living room provides the perfect space to unwind or entertain guests. Step outside to your private 5 x 15 metre pool and expansive sun terrace, ideal for peaceful sunbathing or celebrating in complete seclusion.
Executive Suite Pool View
The Executive Suite Pool View sports contemporary décor with light Thai touches. This room offers panoramic views of the resort’s gorgeous pool and lush garden and is perfect for two guests.
Executive Suite Pool Access
The Executive Suite Pool Access is a beautifully modern room for two complete with direct access to the resort’s pool, a nod to the classic tradition of Thai hospitality – ‘Tha Nam’, or being ‘close to water’.
Deluxe Pool View
Enjoy sweeping views of the shimmering blue pool and beautifully landscaped gardens with the Deluxe Pool View room, all while indulging in the modern comforts designed for your complete relaxation. This room houses two guests.

Dining
Dining is small-scale and stays in-house. VelaBhirom is the main restaurant, working through traditional Thai cooking, and the Mayraya wine bar handles drinks and lighter bites on a garden patio. Breakfast runs buffet and a la carte. It is more a quiet hotel kitchen than a destination dining scene, but Sathorn and Silom put hundreds of Bangkok restaurants within a short ride.
Wellness
Villa Deva keeps wellness simple for a city hotel: a spa with a menu of massages and treatments, a fitness center open through the day, and the central swimming pool that most rooms face. The walled garden and low-rise design do the rest, keeping noise out and making the pool feel more like a private courtyard than a hotel facility. Several rooms also have direct pool access from the terrace.
Location
Villa Deva is in Sathorn, one of central Bangkok’s calmer, leafier districts, home to embassies, offices, and Lumpini Park. The hotel is set back behind its own walls, so it stays quiet, but it is well connected: BTS and MRT stations are a short walk, and Silom, the heart of Bangkok’s gay nightlife, is close by. Suvarnabhumi Airport is around 40 minutes by car, traffic permitting.
