This 12-day Serenity of the South itinerary explores Thailand’s Andaman Coast and rainforest interior, travelling from Phuket to the quiet beaches of Khao Lak, inland to the ancient rainforest of Khao Sok National Park, and on to the dramatic coastline of Krabi, before returning to Phuket.

Says 1-3: Phuket and Khao Lak
After arriving in Phuket, you travel north along the Andaman Coast to Khao Lak, a region known for its long beaches, low-rise resorts and relaxed pace. The first days are intentionally unhurried, allowing time to settle into your surroundings and adjust to the rhythm of southern Thailand.
Khao Lak serves as a soft introduction to the journey, with space to enjoy the beach, spa facilities and coastal scenery at your own pace. Optional experiences range from island excursions in the Andaman Sea to conservation-led encounters and ethical wildlife experiences. These early days set the tone for the itinerary, prioritising calm, comfort and a strong sense of place.
Days 4-6: Khao Sok National Park
Leaving the coast behind, the journey moves inland to Khao Sok National Park, one of the oldest rainforests in the world. The change in landscape is immediate, with towering limestone cliffs, dense jungle and misty river valleys replacing the open coastline.
Your time here is focused on immersive nature experiences, including gentle river journeys, rainforest walks and a full-day exploration of Cheow Lan Lake. Days 7-10: Krabi

One day is dedicated to island-hopping by traditional longtail boat, visiting sheltered lagoons and white-sand islands framed by limestone cliffs. Days 11-12: Return to Phuket and Departure

Your last night is spent in northern Phuket, close to the airport yet far removed from crowds, allowing for a calm final evening before departure. After breakfast on the final day, you transfer to the airport for your onward journey, concluding a route that has moved steadily from coast to rainforest and back again, without ever feeling rushed.
