The itinerary allows you to explore both historical Greece and relax in the renowned Greek Island of Mykonos. Visiting the highlights of Ancient Greece, you’ll spend time in the heart of gay Athens before heading by boat to explore and unwind in the islands.

In the islands you’ll have three nights in cosmopolitan Mykonos, which is particularly gay-friendly. It has a wide range of restaurants and bars and all the islands offer incredible sunset views. You can then choose to return to Athens for an extra day or fly out directly from Mykonos if in season.

Itinerary Breakdown


Day 1: Athens

Upon arrival at Athens Airport, you’ll be met by a driver who will take you to your hotel.

After check-in you’ll have the rest of the day at leisure.

Overnight in Athens.


Day 2: Athens

After breakfast at your hotel, you’ll join a group and an English speaking guide who will take you on a tour of the highlights of Athens. Starting your visit to Panathinaikos Stadium, you’ll also explore the National Garden, Hadrian’s Arch, Greek Parliament and the tomb of the unknown soldier, and then visit the famous Acropolis, undoubtedly the crowning of the beauty and glory of Ancient Athens. Its many monuments include The Propylaea, the temple Of Athena, Nike and the Erechtheion, with its Porch of Maidens.

Continue with a visit the Acropolis Museum, considered one of the most important archaeological museums in Athens and ranked among the most important museums of the world. The Acropolis includes artefacts from Ancient Greece, statues from the period and caryatids which are sculpted female figures used as architectural support instead of columns.

You’ll see the Parthenon as well as the ruins of Ancient Athens City, revealed during archaeological excavations on the site of the museum.

Day 3: Athens

Breakfast at the hotel.

In the morning we take you by bus, to the port to take a full day cruise of three islands. The ship sets sail for Hydra. Here you have free time for a walk or a swim. Reboard the boat for Poros, the smallest of the three islands, separated from the Peloponnese by a narrow strait and offering a most enchanting view of Poros Town.

You’ll have an hour to explore Poros. Lunch will then be served as you journey to your final port of call, the island of Aegina where you have time for a swim. You can take an optional excursion, by bus, to the fine preserved Temple of Afea Athena. Board the boat for your return to Athens where you’ll arrive late in the afternoon.

Day 4: Athens to Mykonos

After breakfast, you’ll check out from your Athens hotel and head to the port to take the ferry to Mykonos.

Once you reach Mykonos, a driver will meet you to take you to your hotel.

Mykonos Town, LIttle Venice

Day 5: Mykonos

Breakfast at hotel.

Today you’ll take a half-day trip to famous Delos. You’ll have a professional guide, ferry and entrance fees to the sacred island of Apollo and Artemis, a famous political and religious centre of old.

The whole territory of the deserted Delos is one of the most important archaeological sites of the eastern Mediterranean and is a protected UNESCO world heritage site. You may visit, amongst others, the remains of the Temples of Apollo, the sanctuary of Artemis, the old city and the theatre and then walk down the celebrated Lion Street.

Also, in the museum of Delos, you can admire Archaic, Classical, Hellenistic and Roman Sculptures and a collection of vessels from all periods.

Day 6 and 7: Mykonos

Days at leisure. Consider checking out Super Paradise Beach and Jackie O’s Beach Bar.
