In Athens, you can explore the famous sightseeing spots alongside an expert historian guide. Unravel over 5,000 years of Greek history at the Acropolis and Temple of Olympian Zeus, imagine ancient performances at the Theatre of Herodes Atticus, or admire the exquisite preservation of the Temple of Hephaestus. By night, dine on authentic Greek cuisine alongside views of the glowing Parthenon from a chic rooftop restaurant terrace.
Next, you’ll be whisked off to Nafplio with your private driver. This picturesque coastal city is located in the Peloponnese in Greece and features some iconic historic spots. Here, you’ll see the famous Ancient Theatre at the Asclepieion of Epidaurus, as well as Bourtzi Castle and the Archaeological site of Mycenae.

Day 1-4 Athens
Begin your journey through Ancient Greece in Athens. Here, you’ll enjoy a three-night stay at King George, an exquisite hotel with a classical feel, located in the very heart of the city. This hotel sports elegant decor – think big crystal chandeliers, Roman-style columns, and glossy marble floors. It’s the perfect first place to stay to kick off your historic journey.
In Athens, you’ll enjoy a tour of the city’s historic hotspots with an expert guide – they can be an LGBTQ+ guide if you’d prefer. They’ll take you around The Acropolis, the famous ancient citadel – as well as the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Theatre of Herodes Atticus, and the Temple of Hephaestus.
As well as the history tour, you can also choose to have a golf buggy tour of the whole city on another day of your stay – this makes for a great introduction to Athens, letting you see the city without compromising on comfort.
By night, head out to authentic Greek tavernas and tuck into kleftikos and Greek salads while you soak up the views of the glowing Parthenon.
Day 4-5 Nafplio
You’ll next be transferred via a private driver to Nafplio, a historic coastal spot based just two hours from Athens. You’ll stay at the Hotel Ippoliti, a luxurious hotel set in an old mansion, and based in the very heart of Nafplio. Here, you’ll find charming rooms with authentic Tuscan furniture and a classical feel that will fit in nicely with your historic trip. Some rooms offer balconies that overlook the Bourtzi Castle. The Archaeological Museum of Nafplio is situated just 150 meters away.
This destination features some of the other iconic examples of Ancient Greek history, including the Ancient Theatre at the Asclepieion of Epidaurus, Bourtzi Castle, and the Archaeological site of Mycenae. You can enjoy private tours of each of these destinations with a private guide, so you can make the most of your trip and have all your burning questions answered.
Day 5-8 Mykonos & Delos Tour
After soaking up ancient history and modern luxury in Athens, continue your indulgent journey to the sun-drenched Isle of Mykonos. Take a ferry ride over, where you’ll head to the Myconian Imperial for your stay, where you’ll admire views of Elia Beach below.
