Sofitel Mauritius L’Impérial Resort and Spa sits on the west coast of Mauritius in Flic en Flac, spread across nine hectares of tropical gardens on a white sand beach facing the Indian Ocean.
The architecture draws on East Asian design, with natural materials, water features, and a Japanese garden running through the resort grounds. The west coast position places the resort facing west across the Indian Ocean, with sunset views directly from the beach and from the pool throughout the year.
The resort has 191 rooms and suites across four categories, five restaurants and bars, a Sofitel Spa with L’Occitane, two pools, and a full program of water sports. Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport is approximately 50 kilometers from the resort, around one hour by road. Tamarina Golf Club is a ten-minute drive and Paradis Golf Club around 30 minutes.

Luxury Rooms sit on the first or second floor with direct access to the beach or lagoon and ocean views from a private balcony.
Magnifique Rooms
Magnifique Rooms combine French elegance with contemporary interiors, with views over the adults-only Le Flamboyant pool and the Indian Ocean. Each includes the Sofitel MyBed, a flat-screen TV, free WiFi, air conditioning, an open-plan bathroom, a minibar, and a safe.
Prestige Suites
Prestige Suites have a separate living area, a private balcony, and panoramic ocean views, accommodating two adults and two children or three adults. Each includes the Sofitel MyBed, a flat-screen TV, free WiFi, air conditioning, an open-plan bathroom, a minibar, and a safe, suited to families or small groups.
Opera Suite
The Opera Suite has ocean views and a private terrace with direct sunset views, an open-plan bathroom, the Sofitel MyBed, a flat-screen TV, free WiFi, air conditioning, a minibar, and a safe.
Imperial Suite
The Imperial Suite covers 125 square meters with one bedroom, a separate living room, butler service, a private terrace, a whirlpool bath with Lanvin bath amenities, two flat-screen TVs, an espresso machine, a minibar, and a safe. It is the most complete accommodation at the resort.

Bars
Le Flamboyant is the swim-up pool bar serving cocktails with sunset views over the Indian Ocean. A beach bar and terrace bar complete the resort’s bar offering.
Spa & Wellness
The Sofitel Spa offers a full treatment menu of massages, facials, and body treatments using L’Occitane products, alongside a sauna, steam room, spa pool, and beauty services.
Yoga and meditation sessions are available on request. Two outdoor pools sit within the resort, one of which is the swim-up pool with sunset views. A fully equipped fitness center overlooking the mountain.
Tennis courts, water sports including snorkeling, windsurfing, kayaking, sailing, scuba diving, and archery are all available from the beach. A kids club runs supervised daily programs for younger guests.
