This French Polynesian island, located in the middle of the South Pacific island is home to some of the world’s best hotels. Stay in an overwater villa and enjoy having a view of the open ocean right at your backdoor step. Get used to the comforting sound of the gentle waves lapping the shore as your alarm clock, and wake yourself with a morning dip in the sea. One of our favourites resorts is Le Meridien Bora Bora.
Located in the very Northern part of Finland within the arctic circle, Finnish Lapland is one of the best places in the world where you can view the dazzling Northern Lights display. Stay at the Kakslauttanen Resort where you can sleep in a glass igloo and watch the lights dance above your head. The surrounding area is stunning with snow-covered mountains and icy lakes.
The island of Pemba is located just off the coast of Tanzania and is only accessible by boat. If you want that feeling of remoteness, this is the place to go. Our favourite resort, Fundu Lagoon is situated on the coast and has some of the best sunset views. The luxurious beach suites allow you to connect with nature on a whole new level, enjoy incredible sunset views from your private terrace whilst sipping on a cocktail.
Sit back and relax on your balcony or private villa and watch the magnificent golden colours bounce off the rippling ocean as the sun slowly melts into the ocean. Mykonos is blessed with having some of Europe’s best sunsets, especially during the hot summer months when there is very little cloud. No need for early evening entertainment, the sunset is entertaining enough.
