The Almar Resort – Mexico
The Almar is one of the world’s most stylish gay resorts. It bills itself as “straight-friendly”. Located in the ever-popular Puerto Vallarta, it’s right by Zona Rosa, Latin America’s biggest gaybourhood. They host nightly entertainment at the Top Bar, where you can enjoy sweeping views of the Jalisco coastline. The rooms are very stylish. Rainbows will greet you in the lobby as you enter a hotel where all your gay dreams may well come true.
Drag queens perform every night. You’ll be right in the heart of the action. In peak season there’s an awful lot of action in Puerto Vallarta which is known as one of Mexico’s primary gay beach resorts. The Almar is the best place to experience it all.
The Hacienda at Warm Sands – Palm Springs
This, along with The Almar, is the finest LGBT+ resort in the Americas. The Hacienda at Warm Sands is in Palm Springs, California’s gay city in the desert. It’s around a two and a half hour drive from LA, and it’s long been established as a gay mecca. Palm Springs is one of the few cities that’s majority LGBT+. Come to think of it, it’s got to be the only LGBT+ majority city.
The Hacienda at Warm Sands is the most stylish gay resort in Palm Springs. Whether you’re a solo gay traveller or a couple, this is a great place to stay. Enjoy sweeping views of the San Jacinto Mountains and expect the highest level of service. There are only 10 suites so it’s a very intimate resort – more like a private home than a hotel. Staying at The Hacienda at Warm Sands is an experience: you won’t find a more stylish gay resort anywhere else.
Gay Group Trip: Greek Island Hopping
Staying in a gay resort is one option for solo travellers, but going on a group trip could be the better option. Most out of our gay group trips are comprised of 50% solo travellers. One of our most popular group trips is this island hopping adventure around Greece. The trip begins in Athens where you’ll see many of the highlights of the Greek capital, including The Acropolis. From Athens you’ll transfer to the Greek islands, where you’ll get the chance to explore Mykonos and Santorini. This trip always sells out so advanced booking is recommended.
Gay Group Trip: South Africa Explorer
Setting out on a safari in South Africa is one of the major bucket list experiences. This trip has been designed to maximise your experience of South Africa. You’ll explore the coastal capital of Cape Town, try South Africa’s finest in the Winelands, visit Kruger Park and then take a trip to Kruger Falls. This epic trip will include a bit of everything. You’ll see the big city and pursue the Big Five as you set out on game drives into the African Bush. We can also organise a 3-night optional extension in Victoria Falls. It’s the world’s largest waterfall – you’ll find it at the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe. This is a great trip for solo travellers.
Gay Group Trip: Costa Rica Adventure
Costa Rica is a great eco-friendly destination, and it’s one of the best places you can visit if you like an adventure. This trip offers the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. You’ll explore the capital city San Jose, explore an active volcano in Arenal, stay in a villa in the jungle and visit Manuel Antonio. As well as exploring the beach, you’ll visit Manuel Antonio National Park and see the wonderful animals native to these parts – there’ll be lots of monkeys. Join a guided wildlife tour through the park and learn about Costa Rica’s biodiversity. You’ll also explore Manuel Antonio’s sizeable gay scene.
