Taking place from 17 February to 5 March 2023, Sydney WorldPride is already shaping up to be an all-out celebration of queerness in one of the world’s most exciting and cosmopolitan cities. With a massive range of dance parties, an opening concert headlined by Kylie Minogue, and community events, there is something for everyone, regardless of your definition of pride. From the Mardi Gras Parade, starting on Oxford Street and snaking its way through the city, to the Live and Proud opening concert, Sydney’s streets will be awash with rainbow colours.

The event will coincide with the 50th anniversary of the first Australian Gay Pride Week, and the fifth anniversary of marriage equality in Australia. It’ll also mark 45 years since Sydney held its first Mardi Gras parade.
