Atrina Canava 1894 sits in the heart of Oia with a privileged caldera-front position and a history stretching back to the late 19th century. The cave-like structures are original to the island’s architectural tradition, restored and refined into 15 individually named suites and villas, each with a private sea-view terrace.
The accommodation ranges from compact Elegant Suites of around 30 square meters up to the 90sqm Atrina Villa with jacuzzi, with Honeymoon Suites adding outdoor jacuzzis for couples.
Personalised service sits at the core of the offer, with a concierge team, gastronomy, pool, and a curated experiences program rounding out what is a genuinely characterful property.

Accommodation
Alexander's Suite
The most compact of the Elegant Suites, Alexander’s is built around the contrast of all-white Cycladic walls, natural wood, and abundant sunlight flooding through from the private balcony. A queen bed, kitchenette, sitting area, and glass shower bathroom cover everything needed for two, while the terrace delivers panoramic caldera and volcano views. A considered, unfussy suite for guests who want the Oia experience without excess.
Tholos Suite
A step up in size within the Elegant Suites category, the Tholos brings more vivid character to the typical Cycladic palette, with traditional furnishings and blue and white detail set against the prevailing white of the island. The outdoor area is more generous than Alexander’s, with caldera and sea views from the terrace. A modern glass shower and queen bed complete a suite that leans more distinctly into the island’s visual identity.
Canava 1894
The Canava 1894 Suite embodies the height of luxury in Santorini. The cave-like architecture reflects the location. A fierce volcanic rock juts out of the wall, adding a sense of drama. The suite is carved into the cliffside. It can fit four people. There’s a king-size bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, and a second queen-sized bedroom with a separate bathroom.
Atrina Villa
The Atrina Villa is the largest accommodation at Atrina Canava 1894. It fits four people. There’s a heated outdoor jacuzzi, a private terrace overlooking the Aegean, the caldera and the volcano. This is a very romantic setting. The villa is like a private home. It captures the unpretentious luxury of Santorini. Elegant, understated and supremely stylish.

Pool
The pool at Atrina Canava 1894 sits with unobstructed views across the Aegean, the caldera, the volcano, and the Theran sunset, with sunbeds positioned to make the most of all four. A snack bar operates 24 hours a day poolside, serving signature cocktails and food throughout. The setting is open and calm, with nothing between the water and the panorama beyond.
Breakfast
Breakfast at Atrina Canava 1894 is served with caldera and sea views as the backdrop, described as a feast of flavors, aromas, and textures in the privacy of the property. The emphasis is on the combination of the culinary experience and the setting rather than a specific menu format, with the view as much a part of the morning as what’s on the plate.
