There are so many options for a European honeymoon in the major cities. Paris is historically associated with romance. It is a very romantic city but it’s more rough and ready than the postcards would suggest, which is a big part of its charm. Venice has also been associated with romance since at least the 18th-century.

You can enjoy some civilised cocktails and then head to a restaurant – the cuisine is excellent in Mykonos. If the mood takes you, then you can party all night. You can also experience a perfect honeymoon experiences at Mykonos’ many luxury hotels.
If you’d like to avoid the crowds, you could opt for some of the less visited Greek islands, like Naxos, Paros, etc. Croatia has also emerged as a hugely popular island destination.
